Photo presentation to the St. Thomas Photographic Guild at the regular meeting on Tuesday October 6, 2009 7:30 PM at the St. Thomas ON library.</div><br /><div></div><div>In late May 2006, about 130 people from all around the world, gathered on the tiny island of Tiree, one of the Inner Hebrides islands, off the west coast of Scotland. They all had one thing in common. They were all descended from people of Tiree. The current residents of Tiree in 2006, did an amazing job of organizing a full five day program of events, that no one who was present will ever forget. It took tremendous dedication and a lot of hard work by the few hundred inhabitants. Their efforts paid off wonderfully, resulting in a most outstanding and memorable event, for all who travelled to Tiree for A' Bhuain - The Homecoming.</div><div></div><br /><div>The photo presentation, consists of a few images of landscapes and outdoor subjects from around the island, to give the viewer a feel for and impression of life on the island, past and present.
